Shiplap boards should be attached with a 2mm gap between boards, to allow for possible expansion.

All shiplap (VSL) profiles are designed to be face fixed except for VSL3 which can be secret nailed.

Boards are supplied in random lengths from 2.0metres – 4.0metres. (This may vary, depending on species.)

Special or bespoke profiles up to 200mm wide can be provided. For external cladding, it is generally recommended that boards do not exceed 150mm in width.
