English oak flooring: First grade

English oak flooring. First grade. 150 / 175 / 200mm English oak flooring. First grade. 100 / 125 / 150mm
Ideal for: | Formal and contemporary rooms. |
Not ideal for: | Those who prefer a natural look. |
The straightest and least knotty English oak trees are used for our First grade oak flooring, which makes the wood ideal for contemporary or formal rooms. The floorboards will be even in colour and free of the larger knots and defects found in our Character and Barn grades. As a result, our First grade boards should require very little filling or remedial work after installation.
The boards are supplied unfinished and will require sanding and sealing before use. A degree of movement should be expected after fitting and throughout the year as the ambient temperature and humidity vary.
