For hardwood decking with a traditional appearance we offer a range of oak deck boards. Oak decking is available either out of air dried oak (seasoned) or green oak (fresh sawn).
Air dried oak decking is a traditional oak floor for the outdoors. Available in our standard grooved profile or simply as a smooth board the air dried oak is stable and naturally durable. Two coats of Fiddes exterior high build oil will maintain the natural golden colour of the oak otherwise the boards will naturally weather to a silver grey.
Green oak decking is a sawn product suited to rustic applications where some variation in board size and shrinkage are accepted. Boards are left rough sawn and will display all the natural character of English oak.
